Admission and enrolment

To apply for a vacancy in Master’s Degree in Digital Art Curatorhsip, students interested must follow the admission process detailed below, according to whether they have studied higher studies in Spain or in other country.

Admission period

Master’s degree has two admission periods, ordinary and extraordinary. Students must submit the documentation preferably within the ordinary period.

This period starts in February and lasts until June 2015. Once finished, extraordinary period is open from July to September 2015.

Vacancies for master’s degree programmes are limited and are covered strictly by the order of reservation fee, that is why is advisable to start the admission process in advance.

 

Applicants for the master's degree must be in possession of a bachelor's degree, architect or graduate in History of art, fine arts or visual arts, architecture, humanities, art criticism, productions Multimedia, communication sciences, design, cultural management or other related disciplines.


The following selection criteria will be prioritized:


- Professional record (Curriculum Vitae) (20 points)
- Academic Records (35 points)
- Letter of recommendation (professional or academic) (10 points)
- Letter of motivation (5 points)
- Have a level of English B2 or equivalent (5 points)
- Adaptation of the candidate's profile to the objectives and contents of the program (20 points
- Personal interview (5 points)

Once the documentation is presented, the academic director will evaluate it and conduct an interview
personal. Access to the master will be those candidates who, in compliance with the requirements mentioned

Above, also obtain a weight equal to or greater than 60 points in the set of Selection criteria.

Spanish students

To apply for master’s degree admission, applicants must submit the following documentation:

  • Master’s degree specific pre-enrolment form
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Motivation letter
  • Transcript of records
  • Academic/professional cover letter
  • Certificate of last finished studies


Documentation must be sent to the attention of Admissions Department to master@esdi.edu.es.

European Union and non EU students

To apply for master’s degree admission, applicants must submit the following documentation:

  • Master’s degree specific pre-enrolment form
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Motivation letter
  • Transcript of records
  • Academic/professional cover letter
  • Certificate of last finished studies
  • Certification by their university (without the need to approve the degree) stating that their training level is equivalent to the corresponding Spanish official undergraduate degrees which in the issuing country give the degree to gain admittance to postgraduate studies. Admittance through this channel will not involve, in any case, approving the previous degree owned by the applicant, nor its recognition to other effects besides to study master’s degree.
