The lecture by Yolanda Muelas, METAL magazine director, an international publication focused on fashion and art that is distributed in major cities in Europe, America and Asia. The paper will analyze the role of fashion magazines in the industry and how they have been affected by the incursion of online media. Finally, we will present new trends in fashion communication. Yolanda Muelas, BA in Journalism, serves as director of METAL magazine since 2005. She collaborates sporadically in different media (EP3, Marie Claire), has lectured extensively on various fashion schools online and maintains two parallel webs METAL, and dailymetal.eu revistametal.com and the Pull & Bear Blog, PullTheMetal . com. The magazine has developed projects for brands such as Dior Homme, Louis Vuitton, Diesel, Nike or Kipling.
