Mercat del Dissey Idees (driven by Barcelona Design Centre) has selected, among others, two projects of ESDi ex-alumns as semifinalists of the competition for creatives who want to present their projects to companies.
Maria Armengol’s projecy ’ACÚSTIC 643’ was created to solve the lack of an acoustic in enclosed public use, such as bars and restaurants, to improve intelligibility of the word and help communication between people. The most distinctive features of the project is the versatility it offers both form and finishing, its cost and system installation that aim to bring a technical product expert just a user.
The other project selected i the motorbike ’GALA 279’ designed and made by the students Silvia Arch Marc Capdevila and Edgar Miguel Melero Vallribera. Motorcycle responses to the need for mobility and ergonomic needs of two-wheeled vehicles to transport various loads and services to the city.
On October 17th, we will know the projects submitted that become finalists of MID 2014, and in this case will be presented to the Innovation Forum, to be held on 4 November 2014 and exhibited at the Design Hub Barcelona on November 5.
The project motorcycle also has succeeded Forum Technology and Innovation: Solutions for Cities, which will be presented on October 20th.
