14 countries in Europe and Asia, represented by 14 organizations of color , met , on 25,26 and 27 May at the School of Design ESDI to work and agree the color shades that will define spring / summer season 2016. These color ranges from the study of social and cultural needs of each one of the member countries and end features in a color palette that companies used in giving shade to its products and therefore be more competitive in the market .
The textile and clothing industry is the first to adopt these colors later used also interior design and home decoration, the automotive sector and product.This time Intercolor defined 6 cards in color, about 8 colors each under the " Embracing Diversity " which part of the sociological proposal by Spain "Here and Here" , in which the concept of diversity is defined in city .
The colors that dominate the overall trend are white ; green , blue and gray combined with very soft browns, see , gold and red types . The orange color is also present at the request of the Nordic countries. Meanwhile the proposed Color_LAB ESDI , Spanish representative , is very present with very soft tones and natural materials such as cotton , wood and skin.
Once defined these color charts are available to the textile industrialists in charge of dyeing yarns , fabrics and make take a major international fairs , such as vision or STIB Prime Barcelona ( Barcelona International Lounge text ) where they can be purchased by the designers and brands that are preparing their collections. This is why the colors are set two years before the products are marketed.
