The alumnus graduated in Audiovisual Design of ESDi in 2013, Gerard Rubio, will expose his Project of Final of Degree in the Antoni Tàpies Foundation. The exhibition will start the 15th of January and it will remain until the day 9th of February.
Rubio’s project, named Open Knit, poses a critique current of the production model and consumption, giving an alternative textile production machine that empowers its users through self-sufficiency and creative development. ’Open knit’ garments manufacture custom automated from digital files that selflessly shared through an online repository.
Part of this project is also exposed in the hall of ESDI within the exhibition ‘I interact, you interact, Interact, interact, you interact and interact’, which contains a selection of Final Year Projects in the visual pathway of the same course. The exhibition is based on the interaction provides a common thread between the person and the machine but mostly, creates networks of relationship and friendship.
