The brilliant end of Cibeles

During the last week of 18th to 22th of September the fashion show of the collections for the spring-summer 2010 of 56 designers was celebrated in Madrid. In February of 1985 six fashion designers show under a tent in Plaza Colón their creations. After 25 years of intense activity, Cibeles has become a benchmark for promotion of the Spanish fashion. Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week ended the celebration of its fiftieth edition on a day characterized by diversity. In the last day of Cibeles the designers who show their projects have less experienced, so those are who take more risks. Among them we emphasize two collections of designers who have been graduated in the Escuela Superior de Diseño ESDi.

Street rhythms of El Delgado Buil and elegance of Serguei Povaguin

The entertainment came with Anna Figuera and Macarena Ramos, which form El Delgado Buil, and who won twice in Cibeles for its innovative designs. The designers reinterpreted the aesthetics of the ’majorettes’ (Photo 1 and 2) in his collection for spring-summer 2010, returning to his youth, freshness and originality usual. The mixed fashion show showed high-waisted skirts and flashy clothes. Flounces also in men’s designs. The Belgian brand Kipling chose to develop a small collection called "Kipling by El Delgado Buil" which was presented in the Pasarela Cibeles, and in which were six bags and three accessories. In the case of Serguei Povaguin, who hadn’t revealed its proposals until the moment of his departure to the fashion show, showed (Photo 3) a classic and elegant woman, with suits shirts, coats, sober, tube skirts with white shirts.
