Tere Badia gave a lecture in EATM

Last Thursday 6th of May EATM the research manager Tere Badia, who currently heads HANGAR (Art Production Centre of Barcelona), visited EATM. Tere Badia (Mexico, 1964) is a specialist in critical theory and cultural policy management, networks and the impact of ICTs in artistic creation. She has been linked to Interarts Foundation (Barcelona), a communications agency Goetzinger + Komplizen (Karlsruhe) and drafted the comprehensive plan R & D + I in Visual Arts Catalonia Laboratory on behalf of the AAVC. She also coordinated the program Disonancias a Catalunya, a mediation platform between companies, research centers, public agencies and artists to encourage innovation. She spoke of her experience in the management of cultural spaces, conference focusing on the problems and challenges of cultural production in relation to the business. Inviting students to reflect on the ethical role should exercise the artists and curators at the time of working with the private sector.
