This year the traditional Freixenet advertisment takes a 360 degree turn. The company decided to make a change in their Christmas campaign and a created a youtube video competition to chose the most original toast. The director Bigas Luna was the responsable to select the winners. Marc Calvet Toro, fourth-year student at the Audiovisual Design School ESDi, was ultimately one of 15 winners of the project, at the level of Spain, with his "daring and flying toast," which shows a jump parachute. Last night he received the prize (3000 euros) at a ceremony held in Madrid, which was attended by filmmaker Bigas Luna. The video can now be viewed on the website of Freixenet and through television starting today. Freixenet makes distributing two versions of the video: one and a half minutes, showing fragments of all the winning videos, and short videos with the full version of the work of the winners.
