Barcelona, February 2007 I do not speak of a mobility that moves from one point to another, I speak about a state, a provision of permanent displacement. Therefore, one way of understanding the world that knows no definitions or preset functions but acts present. Mireia Feliu The exhibition also showed works awarded by the New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship and the SVA Alumni Award. The projects presented, with based videographic, start from the experience of the artist when travelled between three territories since 2002: Western Sahara, Barcelona and New York. On the other hand, also start from monitoring and recordings made since 2005 of various nomadic communities, one in each province: the ethnic African tradition and wandering livestock, practitioners of the circus world and inhabitants of large cities than in the West "liquid". The nomadism that arises through this exhibition is not only a formal proposal. It is something that affects the existential way of thinking and living and, therefore, becomes the point of view from which speech is generated and each of the works displayed.
