Fashion designer Georgina Santiago, designers Bendita Gloria and internationals Brosmind, speakers at the 3rd ÉSDissabte

On May 2 the Higher School of Design ESDI hall will host a new session of the ÉSDissabte project, a space for discussion and debate about design that has reached its third edition. This time, starting at 16:00, will count with luxury speakers: the fashion designer Georgina Santiago, the design studio Bendita Gloria and the artists and illustrators Brosmind. The three guest speakers will explain their experiences and discuss with attendees. Georgina Santiago holds a degree in Fashion Design from the Higher School of Design ESDI and has been the Spanish designer who has participated in the C & A Design Challenge Reimagine campaing contest. In July 2012 she won a Jury mention at the MODAFAD Barcelona and she was a finalist in the New Talent contest at the Brandery Barcelona for her collection MINUTIAE. On the other hand we will have Bendita Gloria, a design studio formed by Alba Rossell and Santi Fuster, both graduated in Graphic Design from ESDI. Together they began their project in 2007 and got a Laus Graphic and Communication Award at the 41st edition of these awards. They have worked on Branding, Packaging and Publishing projects. And finally, Brosmind is a Barcelona based studio founded by brothers Juan y Alejandro Mingarro in 2006. They have been awarded the most prestigious sector awards: León at Cannes, Clio, Eurobest, Graphis, Laus, ... and have worked for clients such as Nike, Microsoft, Virgin, Volkswagen, etc.. ÉSDissabte is an extra-university project developed by three students of the Design Management (Multidisciplinary Integration) itinerary of ESDI: Georgina Capdevila, Humbert Clotet and Alain Jaimez. This project was born with the desire of creating an alternative space open to anyone interested in design, where to show creations, projects, and share concerns simply for pleasure. With a clear and relaxed distance from the stringency of the teaching plan.
