ESDI received the "Socially Responsible Company Recognition in the field of Equal Opportunity and Diversity Management"

ESDI has participated in the 3rd edition of a day of recognition to companies who have worked on projects for Employment, organized by the city of Sabadell and Vapor Llonch on 19 February at the Fira de Sabadell. It was during this time that the School of Design ESDI has received the document "Recognition Socially Responsible Company in the field of Equal Opportunity and Diversity Management".

In this the 3rd day were presented projects where people have hired the most vulnerable groups in the labor market or who have contributed in any action or practice similar. Specifically , note that they have shown to date with 6,000 candidates Sabadell city that can be integrated in any professional field, and with all levels of experience and training.

This event has been structured in three parts: presentation of good business practices, recognition of the 270 companies that have collaborated contracting are beneficiaries of equal opportunities and diversity management, and presentation of new projects aimed at businesses that promote employment in the territory.

During the day, they have exhibited benefits for companies that hire people within the programs that Vapor Llonch have as "Youth for Employment": Young people aged 16 to 25 who are unemployed with no acquired skills , receiving training at no cost for the company (350 hours), 25% before joining the work and the rest as dual training; "insternships" or "We youth employment": aged 18 to 30 who are unemployed with acquired skills, receiving training at no cost to the company for the specific job (between 120 and 300 hours) .

The day has had interventions Jaume Farré, Deputy Director of social area of Obra Social La Caixa; Roser Gurrera Hernandez, Assistant Director General of Social Economy and Cooperatives Department of Enterprise and Employment, Civil Ferran vice president of the Council of Barcelona President and Chief Area Local Economic Development and Juan Carlos Sánchez , Mayor of Sabadell.
