Last April 24th the Product and Spaces Usability and Interactivity and Multimedia Communication Departmental Units of the Higher School of Design ESDI and INDICIS Foundation participated in the conference "Less noise, more acoustics" organized by the Ajuntament de Sabadell in occasion of the International Noise Awareness Day. The conference dealt with several issues related to acoustics and noise throughout the day, through different intervention formats: plenary, four thematic roundtables with the participation of experts in the field, fast solutions space, where professionals, companies and organizations presented their products, projects or strategies in the field of noise and acoustics, and an acoustic cocreation space, a participatory workshop where attendees presented solutions in a participatory manner and in groups, to a problem that has been outlined previously. Parallelly and along the day there was also a space provided for exposure and exchange of services and products in the field of acoustics and noise management. 3rd year students of the Degree in Product Design from ESDI, in the context of the Ergonomics subject taught by professor Juan Alberto Favaro, participated in the acoustics co-creation space.
