ESDi participates at the Iberoamerican Design Meeting: Creativism in Puebla (México)

The Ibero-American Design Meeting: Creativism was held on 25, 26 and 27 April in Puebla (Mexico) where Antoni Garrell, General Director of the Foundation for ESDi (FUNDIT), Mercedes Salgado, Director of ESDI-EATM (ESDI headquarters in Barcelona) and Juan Alberto Favaro, ESDi Product and Spaces Usability Unit Coordinator participated as speakers in conferences and workshops. This meeting is intended to establish itself as an academic event and also of national and international professionals from the design world. Therefore, it was a place where new ideas were generated and design new trends were showed through master lectures, specialized conferences, workshops, showrooms and catwalks and renowned professional speakers participated. Antoni Garrell, General Director of the Foundation for ESDi (FUNDIT) opened the meeting on Thursday, April 25 from 09.45 to 10.30 h as a specialist in innovation management and the knowledge economy with his lecture The competitiveness Key Design in the Global World. On the other hand, Mercedes Salgado, Director of ESDI-EATM (ESDI headquarters in Barcelona), gave the lecture The Importance of Color in the Design field on April 25, from 13 to 14h. And on Friday, April 26, from 16 to 18h she was in charge of the workshop called Trends in color Research. Juan Alberto Favaro, Juan Alberto Favaro, ESDi Product and Spaces Usability Unit Coordinator and professor, was responsible of the workshop "Basic Design for soft Interaction" where participants worked with the basic design elements that facilitate the interaction between man and machine. This workshop took place on Thursday, April 25, from 16 to 18h. And as a speaker, he gave the lecture "Design, Robotics and people. Tibi and Dabo design for social robots smart cities" on Friday 26th from 13 to 14h.
