ESDi has been present in the International Committee for Design History and Design Studies

The technical communication submitted, entitled "Design, Crafts and local development in the Canary Islands: case studies and strategic programs", contains a summary of the current state of research on the roles, methodologies and emerging educational implications of the designer as a catalyst territorial innovation processes in an island context. Experiences are presented in synergy with the craft and PROCEDER/PROCEDIR, a training, research and knowledge transfer in Design for Sustainable Local Development inter-university, with the participation of ESDi through the Product and Interior Department.
