Colmillo de Morsa, formed by the ESDi graduate in fashion design, Elisabet Vallecillo, and jewelry designer Javier Blanco, has been selected to participate in the second annual contest that promotes the clothing company C&A: Re- imagine Design Challenge. It is a contest in which 8 young talent from around the world compete for a few months to rethink the classic designs of C&A and redesign in the most sustainable way possible. As the slogan says: look to the past to re-imagine the future.
The competition was presented last week in Dusseldorf and Colmillo de Morsa team has already started working in it. Its production process and the other participants can be followed through facebook signature .Those chosen for this second edition of the designers are : Nina Kepplinger (Austria ) , Katrien Van Hecke (Belgium ) , Claudine Ivari (France) , Christian Bruns (Germany) , Natalie de Koning (Netherlands ), Michael Hekmat ( Poland) Niyaz Erdogan (Turkey) and Elisabet Vallecillo and Javier Blanco ( Spain ) .
In the first edition of the contest also graduated ESDI Georgina Santiago participated in this competition as Spanish representative.
