The contest organized by Trendipia, in collaboration with Inditex proposed recently graduated fashion students to participate as representatives of their university.
Nuria Altima David White, Aida Gallegos, Alexis Player and Mariana Campos, all graduates from the School of Design ESDI, participate under the supervision of the teacher of the school, Dolors Giró. The group has successfully passed the first stage and are currently working to overcome the semi-finals and compete with the other 11 groups. They all hope to win 25,000 per team and the same amount for the school belongs to the team.
Talent & Co consists of three phases:
In the first phase, teams have to present the preliminary collection with mood boards, including a proposal for the first sketches and use of the colour.
The second is the semi-final stage, the creation of the business concept (the concept of brand, retail space and filled the entire collection level and technical drawings). In addition, at this stage a tutor of Inditex show the company headquarter to the team, so they can see how it works. On October 1rst will close the call to present the work, and on 3rd finalists will be announced.
Finally, the expected final phase: the selected teams will make at least six looks from the collection and present the proposed staging for the final act, which takes place in Madrid.
The week from 26th to 30th of January we will know which group has won, until then we can follow today’s contest with hastag #talented&co
Best of luck!
