Students of ESDi collaborated in the main event of the International Day of Cities for life

Sabadell commemorates the International Day for Life Cities with a ceremony held on Monday, November 30 at 7 pm in the Town Hall Square.


The commemoration ceremony is a public information and awareness against this practice still in force in many states and countries of the world and the current campaign for its abolition, promoted by the Community of Sant’Egidio, Amnesty International and the Office of Civil Rights and Citizenship.


Through various projections on the facade of City Hall, taking as a thread the rejection of this practice, students from various design schools in the city’s School of Design ESDi will show the images based on the theme of the death penalty as a source of inspiration.


The city of Sabadell is attached to the network of cities for life, not the death penalty "Cities for Life / Cities Against the Death Penalty" by the city agrees to act in all areas of their competence pro information and awareness towards this practice also urging other institutions to promote initiatives in favor of the moratorium on the use of the death penalty in the world and carry out transactions by persons sentenced to death.
