ESDi student Enric Marti wins the Best Emerging Designer award in the parade of Modafad Fashion Awards 2015

Student collection Enric Martí (who has presented it this June as the final graduation project), was highly regarded by the international jury which valued the projects, on Friday in the Modafad parade.

Therefore, it was chosen as the best emerging designer of all the designers and collections presented at the parade.

The subject of the collection is "The cult of celebrities" as a new form of religion. "The result is a work based on a world of contrasts. An "exquisite" work that combines the risk for the colors, materials and forms with the purest tradition of embroidery made for himself, representing this new glamor and bright color. Thee student has steered at the end, directly incorporating drums embroider garments.

The Modafad organization, which is responsible for promoting young talent organized every year, along with the 080 Barcelona Fashion, a parade to dedicate a space to talented young emerging designers. Besides student Enric Martí also marched in Modafad, students Mireia Salvia and Laura Alberti. The parade, part of the 080, took place at the Olympic Stadium Lluís Companys de Montjuic.

Apart from the three winning projects in the parade Modafad, there were 7 finalists who will present one of his pieces in the DHUB Museum until October 31 . Among these is the project also ESDi student Mireia Salvia
