The contemporary image: Photoshop (PS), Remix and "DI-DI’s"

This article aims to address the issue of the image at the present time, or what is the same, from the perspective of the digital. For this, we will focus on three aspects that define and characterize what we understand today by digital images: the rejection caused by the editing of photographs and retouching (PS); The aesthetic construction of new imaginaries (Remix) that fuse temporally disparate paradigms and finally the pathology associated with the storage of images (DI-DI) and the conservation of memory through them.
