Concha Jerez (Gran Canaria, 1941) is a singular artist in the panorama of Spanish contemporary art. Her creative career, which began its course in the years of conceptual art, has been deployed from multiple formal and technical records: the moving image, printed text, speech, sound, performance, installation and intermediate work. She has also done work for Internet and radio plays in collaboration with the artist, theorist and composer Jose Iges.
