2nd International Conference on Design and Innovation of Catalonia CIDIC
A conference with two ambitions:
The 2nd International Conference on Design and Innovation of Catalonia tries to reconcile the two ambitions as possible compatible and complementary:
1. Congress a research oriented design and design education, where teachers and researchers in design around the world find a fruitful forum for exchanging experiences.
2. Congress is a meeting point for designers whose creative proposals for innovative products and services and employers (or government) that they need to innovate to get out as soon as possible of the economic crisis.
Calendar and Location
The Congress will be held in Sabadell campus of the College of Design ESDI attached to the Universitat Ramon Llull days 25th, 26th and 27th of April 2012
There will be a pre-congress workshops workshops and courses (short courses) on previous 23rd and 24th of April
International Design Awards
The day of closing, April 27, will be awarded prizes to the winners of 2nd Prize International Design and Innovation of Catalonia
. During the conference, attendees can see the works and finalists will have the opportunity to talk to the authors and vote for the Audience Award will complement the awards given by the professional jury.

For all these reasons design is the fundamental means by innovation development
